The New Manager. I Am the Power!

She was hired as the new Manager. She was so strong in her words. She even wanted to challenge the norms. Confident and full of energy kind of woman as she portray. I really don’t know why she was hired as a Manager, she was so poor in simple mathematics. She shouts at her staff because she doesn't understand how to get the formula, the basic of how to get the percentage? She wanted that her staff will teach the methods. The simple method of Division, Multiplication, Addition and subtraction plus the simple tools of converting figures to whatever!!! Where in the world this “Manager” came from and graduated? Shouting for no reason was not a good measure to handle people. What a disgrace that the Manager shouted because she doesn't know the formula? Because she wanted that her staff will teach her how! And because she was the so called “manager” the staffs were the “slaves”? You don’t even belong to the Jungle.

Perhaps learn how to be a good manager first before entering into the arena of Executives. Managers in the company must learn how to respect people below her or him to gain respect. Remember the word “Teamwork”. They are humans not animals.

We observed. We are watching.

While We are Watching.. (It's Alright)

One night, while watching a movie, I noticed a group of guys, they were four actually. A typical office guys wearing long sleeves and short sleeves and neck ties were already removed sat beside us. While inside the movie house, the fourth member was sitting in front of them. He was separated from the group. While watching the movie, I noticed the man in front of him always looking back and hitting the back chair with towel or something and saying something that I can’t hear because he was two aisles away. But I can sense that he was mad at the guy who were separated, and we don't know why. Maybe because the guy hit or his foot maybe touched lightly the chair in front of him. A reason that the man continue to look back. I can sense trouble and we were disturbed by his action. The “separated guy” I will call him, was just simply watching, no comment, no action (deadma). And to my surprise the girl beside her was angry too. I don’t know and I was curious so we listened discreetly to the conversation of the two couple beside him, (Usyoso kami). The woman keeps on complaining about how the guy smells. So, the “separated guy” has bad odor, she was complaining and she wanted to confront the guy to move out. But the man was saying leave him alone. All throughout the movie, me and my friend were disturbed by the actions of this people. The “separated guy” was so ashamed, he knows I think what was happening and we know he heard the complain of the woman, because we at the back and hears everything. I noticed the guy was searching for the man in front of him after the movie when the light went on, because there was a scenario also. But no fighting happened.

I pity the guy because he moved out quickly after the movie. We also noticed he left the group immediately. He might not want what was happening. He was totally embarrassed. Was that a bullying scenario? I was thinking, if they talked to the person quietly? What if the guy was sick and suffering from unknown disease that causes him a foul odor? Why was the man in front of him was also mad?

One thing for sure, we should also be conscious about our personal hygiene. As to respect about yourself, if the people around you treat you bad, you move out and find a place for you. There will be one for sure. Love yourself. Don’t let others step on you. If one feels uncomfortable, speak up. Listen to your body also, your self is your team I believe. Be healthy and eat healthy foods.

We as a "volunteers" feels the sentiment of what we observed. We help people who need us. We give help for free. We even do rescue in times of calamities or help in the best way we can. We care for the little people, sick people or maybe abandoned one. We even do counselling. To the “rich-sosyal” people in public, be little considerate, learn to approach in a nice manner.

Just a thought.. we observed.. we help.
