New Focus

After a long journey and travel in two different countries, I realized a lot of things. Different cultures and lifestyle. The dream before that was denied but then again now I realized that I should be thankful for that what I think was abandoned and not giving priority. Time was so crucial in the situation and age was another reason to consider. For beginners could be a good reason to stay and be tough but not for the middle senior type of career who already established himself.

Friendship at that time was at stake and considered to be quiet damaged by unknown and not being justified enough. Realization was truly identified by my own eyes which I believed God is in control of everything. My faith & belief and my instinct, together with the little voice inside was ignored. Too many signs was given but I was caught up in a close situation,

A New Hope. Singapore 2015

After a two weeks struggle, I moved up again in Singapore. Though I have a limited time staying here, a "New Hope" was born.

via Singapore Airlines From Dubai to Singapore

Well, life is not easy here. Cost of living is high. I am very grateful to a cousin who offers his place so that I have a place to stay. That alone was a big help. I enjoy staying here. Everything is accessible. Transportation is very easy and you can count on them. Of course, sometimes there are problems they encountered but, that was unavoidable, like accidents on the roads.

Singaporeans are friendly people. We may not sometimes understand what they are saying when we buy something or ordering food and drinks, but in the end, all is well and we have a good harmony.  A lot of them are good in English too. Most of them are really disciplined when it comes to orderliness and cleanliness. I hope sometimes together with my kids, I may share the same experience in Singapore. Definitely I will be back for a visit again, but with my family.

Dubai 2015

via Cathay Pacific going to Dubai
(almost 14 hours of travel)

I arrived here in Dubai last March 26, 2015. What a great experience. Travel was almost 9 hours from Hong Kong to UAE not included the travel time from Philippines to Hong Kong which was about more than two (2) hours. There is a lot of Filipino's here living and working and salary is not that much high compared to other countries. Well, they know if you are holding visit visa, that would be a question of why you are applying so therefore, they will not offer that much because they know applicants will accept the offer because of the limited time here in Dubai.

Why in the world I am here?

I am just checking the place which they say is beautiful but quiet humid outside. It is nice experience staying in a small room full-packed with eight people sharing one bathroom. Only piece of sheet to cover our place and for the cold. That is the cover of our privacy. Even the couple who shares one bed, the only thing that covers them is the piece of sheet. Should they be renting a place of their own? Well, renting a place is kind of expensive thing and some people who manage a room seems monster to me. All they think of is money. Imagine a person who manage a room without even thinking & looking what is happening inside. The need of maintenance. The person even plan to have another room to manage that can occupy 10 person. Whew! Sounds crazy to me.

Welcome to the Philippines Pope Francis!!

We thank you Pope Francis for visiting us. You give us a "new hope".
You inspired us a lot and we examine again the humbleness we experience from you.
Truly you are the messenger of God.

I will never forget your teaching about St. Joseph and don't give up on our dreams.
Your humbleness is like Jesus Christ, and we thank God for giving you to us as our leader
of the Catholic Church.

We love you and we will pray for you always!
God bless you more!!

Hungry for Glory! "Congratulations Manny Pacquaio'!

Congratulations Manny Pacquiao!
God bless Philippines!

Yes! He is back. Manny dominates the boxing fight for all the rounds as per my observations. He really moves fast. But of course we can never under estimate Algieri. He is also a good and talented boxer. I believe he also gave his best shots. Though live telecast here in the Philippines was quiet a bit late (for always), because of so many commercials, we were still thankful for the free late telecast. All networks for Manny Pacquaio's game were all the same except for the old fights when he was not that popular.

Thank you again Congressman Manny Pacquiao! You made us all proud. God bless you and God bless Philippines. Mabuhay tayong lahat.

Singapore Visit June 2014! Again!!

Once Again, I have visited Singapore. This time, I tried looking for opportunity available for me. But it is not easy to apply and work here. I experienced some agency asking money in replacement of looking for a job for a candidate. Taking advantage business for those who doesn't have permit to work in Singapore. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the food. I am grateful for all the friends I have here and relatives in supporting me in looking for an opportunity. So here I am again! Enjoy life!

Mad World - Tears for Fears

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow

And I find it kinda funny, I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take
When people run in circles it's a very very
mad world mad world

Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy birthday, happy birthday
Made to feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me

And I find it kinda funny, I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take
When people run in circles it's a very very
Mad world, world
Enlarge your world
Mad world

The New Manager. I Am the Power!

She was hired as the new Manager. She was so strong in her words. She even wanted to challenge the norms. Confident and full of energy kind of woman as she portray. I really don’t know why she was hired as a Manager, she was so poor in simple mathematics. She shouts at her staff because she doesn't understand how to get the formula, the basic of how to get the percentage? She wanted that her staff will teach the methods. The simple method of Division, Multiplication, Addition and subtraction plus the simple tools of converting figures to whatever!!! Where in the world this “Manager” came from and graduated? Shouting for no reason was not a good measure to handle people. What a disgrace that the Manager shouted because she doesn't know the formula? Because she wanted that her staff will teach her how! And because she was the so called “manager” the staffs were the “slaves”? You don’t even belong to the Jungle.

Perhaps learn how to be a good manager first before entering into the arena of Executives. Managers in the company must learn how to respect people below her or him to gain respect. Remember the word “Teamwork”. They are humans not animals.

We observed. We are watching.

While We are Watching.. (It's Alright)

One night, while watching a movie, I noticed a group of guys, they were four actually. A typical office guys wearing long sleeves and short sleeves and neck ties were already removed sat beside us. While inside the movie house, the fourth member was sitting in front of them. He was separated from the group. While watching the movie, I noticed the man in front of him always looking back and hitting the back chair with towel or something and saying something that I can’t hear because he was two aisles away. But I can sense that he was mad at the guy who were separated, and we don't know why. Maybe because the guy hit or his foot maybe touched lightly the chair in front of him. A reason that the man continue to look back. I can sense trouble and we were disturbed by his action. The “separated guy” I will call him, was just simply watching, no comment, no action (deadma). And to my surprise the girl beside her was angry too. I don’t know and I was curious so we listened discreetly to the conversation of the two couple beside him, (Usyoso kami). The woman keeps on complaining about how the guy smells. So, the “separated guy” has bad odor, she was complaining and she wanted to confront the guy to move out. But the man was saying leave him alone. All throughout the movie, me and my friend were disturbed by the actions of this people. The “separated guy” was so ashamed, he knows I think what was happening and we know he heard the complain of the woman, because we at the back and hears everything. I noticed the guy was searching for the man in front of him after the movie when the light went on, because there was a scenario also. But no fighting happened.

I pity the guy because he moved out quickly after the movie. We also noticed he left the group immediately. He might not want what was happening. He was totally embarrassed. Was that a bullying scenario? I was thinking, if they talked to the person quietly? What if the guy was sick and suffering from unknown disease that causes him a foul odor? Why was the man in front of him was also mad?

One thing for sure, we should also be conscious about our personal hygiene. As to respect about yourself, if the people around you treat you bad, you move out and find a place for you. There will be one for sure. Love yourself. Don’t let others step on you. If one feels uncomfortable, speak up. Listen to your body also, your self is your team I believe. Be healthy and eat healthy foods.

We as a "volunteers" feels the sentiment of what we observed. We help people who need us. We give help for free. We even do rescue in times of calamities or help in the best way we can. We care for the little people, sick people or maybe abandoned one. We even do counselling. To the “rich-sosyal” people in public, be little considerate, learn to approach in a nice manner.

Just a thought.. we observed.. we help.

Truly Inspiring

God and Opportunities

"Let me ask you something. If someone prays for patience, you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage, or does he give him opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for the family to be closer, do you think God zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings, or does he give them opportunities to love each other?"

- Morgan Freeman (Evan Almighty)

Sometimes we learn from a message in so many ways. God really works in a mysterious ways. I just want to share this message of Hope to those who need it (like me). I love the movie Evan Almighty. I believe there was a message in that story for all of us.

Have a great day!

Beautiful and Pretty Smile.. In My Thoughts...

Beautiful people and with beautiful smile really is pleasing to the eyes. It can the inspiration and the apple of the eye. Some are really gifted from heaven above. Just a simple look into their eyes and all the  worries and long day pressure is gone. But such beauty can be dangerous. Some people can be out of control. One is not surrendering the things of the youth. The pain of accepting the reality that someday beauty will fade out. Can be depressing for some to know that physical features may change someday. Some say there is danger in beauty.

For me happy people are beautiful. If you are happy then smile, and you will be beautiful in the eyes of the other people. Beauty anyway is in the eye of the beholder. God created a unique beauty in each and everyone of us. Smile can refresh our mind and thinking and be thankful for the gift, the beauty and the capturing smile.

to be continued.. I feel sleepy, it is getting late..

Philippine Election 2013 - A Positive Outlook

I hope and pray that this time we will have a true leaders that will change our country for better life. We often dream of a beautiful Philippines but it seems, a lot of people still don't want change. Some wants power, money and fame, while others really don't care. They just want to live. A lot of greedy people! whew!

We are part of this country so we need to take care of this and love our own nation. Let us continue to fight poverty. Let us move on and continue to protect our environment. Continue to dream and who knows someday Philippines will be like Singapore in terms of cleanliness, orderliness, organized transportation and safe environment. Let us practice discipline and be positive.

Let us help and rebuild our country and let start to change.

To God be the glory!

Singapore 2013

I have visited Singapore once again, for the third time. Another great experience living and talking to some people who live and  work in Singapore. For more than two weeks of stay, I saw once again how organized the place is. But rules keeps on changing including the work policy. If given a chance I loved to work in Changi Airport, I just don't know how. I love working in an airport or in an Airlines, that is my dream, well aside from having my own business. I love watching Airplanes taking-off. I don't know why.  Like this one: (Credit to the one who takes this picture and may I say thank you for posting.)

One of my dream is to ride in A380 Singapore Airlines. I know it is quite expensive but who knows someday I may experience it as well. :) I will just keep on dreaming and focus on my dreams in going to  different places like Canada, Norway, Switzerland, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. There's a lot of good places and I may add South Korea, United States of America. I don't know how but I believe in my heart I can go there.

Changi Airport is really impressive airport. No doubt they are number 1.

I hope someday I'll be posting my picture in Canada or Germany or New Zealand here in my blog. :) Who knows?? Just believe in your heart.

Singapore Travel 2012

Singapore Travel 2012
Second time around

Once again I visited Singapore. The place policy & regulation is my dream to my country. They have the system for everything which I believe the Philippine government is aware of. The country maybe small compared to to Philippines, but I strongly believe that through proper planning and implementation together with the political will, we can achieve the dream that we want for our country. Philippine people should help the country to prosper and be more organize. Discipline is important and we need it badly.

I hope someday we can be like Singapore in terms of progress and discipline.

My Favorite Chicken Rice

"Do you know that I am so happy? Really really happy. Because for the first time we ate together and to the place that I love."

Anyway, one thing that I love in Singapore is the Chicken Rice. For me, you can never go wrong in choosing Chicken Rice, but of course you have to taste also some of their foods. If you visit the place and eating chicken is not against in your practice or anything, I recommend chicken rice.
